OPENING 2028
For Borgo Selva, a 20-key hotel in the Garfagnana region of northern Tuscany, the BCOME Studio developed the full interior design and spatial plan for the property. The hotel is scheduled to open in 2028.
Set within a restored stone borgo, Borgo Selva draws its identity from the architecture and mountain landscape of the Garfagnana. Stone, warm timber, pale plaster and muted olive create a tactile material palette rooted in the region. Contemporary furnishings, considered lighting and refined detailing give the historic setting a clear, modern character.
The design carries this character throughout the hotel, from arrival and reception to the guest rooms, junior suites, lounge and bar. Each area has its own atmosphere, while a consistent approach to materials, proportions and detailing brings the interiors together. The planning supports the full rhythm of a stay: clear and welcoming on arrival, comfortable and calm in the guest rooms, and more sociable in the shared spaces.
Borgo Selva reflects BCOME Studio’s approach to hospitality interior design in Tuscany: a considered relationship between architecture, material and guest experience, shaped by the character of the place.
