Auren Fjord Lodge
Interiors
OPENING 2029
Concept and Interior design for a boutique lodge in Western Norway. At Auren Fjord Lodge, natural materials and carefully framed views connect the interiors with the surrounding fjord and forest.
Conceived as a remote retreat, the lodge is shaped by its landscape and the changing light throughout the day. Large windows and deep reveals draw the views into the rooms, while built-in seating creates comfortable places to pause. Pale and smoked oak, grey stone, wool and heavy linen form a restrained material palette, with muted moss, rust, charcoal and cream bringing depth and warmth.
A considered approach to furniture, lighting and spatial planning carries through the guest rooms, panoramic suite, fireside lounge, restaurant and spa. Each area has its own atmosphere, while consistent proportions and material choices give the interiors a clear identity. The result is a contemporary Scandinavian hospitality concept grounded in its setting, with comfort and connection to nature at the heart of the stay.
